AIDIA STUDIO (ay-dee-uh) is a platform of experimental design in architecture, urbanism, photography and other creative disciplines.
The studio works across scales and typologies from interiors to urbanism and always strives to achieve site specificity, sustainable responses and sophisticated beauty. Every project starts with a brainstorm of ideas but only the best one sifts through the creative process and materializes into the final product.
AIDIA STUDIO was founded by Rolando Rodriguez-Leal and Natalia Wrzask and has a presence in London since 2011 and Mexico City since 2018. Natalia and Rolando met in London in 2005 while working for Foster + Partners. In subsequent years they also collaborated with Zaha Hadid Architects and with the Ateliers Jean Nouvel adding more than 25 years of experience in the best architecture studios in the world. Among other projects they have been involved in the design and delivery of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum.
As AIDIA STUDIO the proctice has been awarded the 2019 Rifat Chadirji Prize for the Barjeel Museum of Modern Arab Art project as well as has won the Architizer A+Award in 2022 for the Tulum Train Station. The studio is currently involved in the design and construction of several different scale social projects in Mexico as well as is constantly working on new concepts for projects around the world.
