Cerasarda, “The Costa Smeralda ceramic company” was established in 1963 at Olbia by Prince Karim, the Aga Khan. The sunny colours of its glazes and refined decoration of its artistic ceramic pieces, combined with a zero kilometre approach and highest quality design, reflect the Costa Smeralda’s reputation as an international byword for glamorous holidays. This pathos translates into an architectonic elegance of the highest level and luxury, the trademark of a land which has become legend.

Cerasarda and Gruppo Romani

In 2002, Cerasarda was acquired by the group, bringing its refined, exclusive glazed cotto floor and wall tiles to the company and taking the elegance of the Mediterranean, the combination of craftsmanship, culture and technology to the world, growing and changing every day to maintain its contemporary, practical style, without losing contact with its roots. Gruppo Romani has dedicated an entire area to Cerasarda in the group’s showroom at Casalgrande. Not only display, but an multifunctional area intended to satisfy the requirements of architects and designers alike. To transmit the contents and values of a brand intimately linked to the land of Sardinia and its history, the prestigious showroom and retail space at Olbia have also been renewed, making it the only one in which visitors can find the design accessories and furnishings made by Cerasarda.

Cerasarda and the professional users

The launch of the new responsive website and its dedicated social network channels provide yet more ways of working and maintaining dialogue with professional users, along with the company’s participation at international exhibitions and events. From Milan Design Week, Cersaie, Bologna and workshops for architects and landscape designers sponsored by Action Group at Milan and Turin, to ICFF, New York and Coverings, Orlando, in the USA and the Foire de Nice on the Cote d’Azur and Maison et Objet at Paris, France.
