In 2001, after winning the EUROPAN 6 architecture and urban planning competition for the Châtelet site,
Ruddy Picard and Bertrand Noël formed a partnership. Their friendship and shared architectural interests
led them to set up Open Architectes in 2006.
Jérôme Peteno joined them at the same time.
After almost 18 years with the company, Ruddy decided to leave.
During 2024, the team reorganised and expanded somewhat, while retaining its DNA. Bertrand and Jérôme
now surround themselves with 12 collaborators of different generations and backgrounds. All looking to the
horizon for new projects.
