STEGET is an Italian engineering firm located in Turin and founded in 1993 to perform technical service nationally and internationally in architecture, cultural heritage enhancement and engineering sectors for national public administrations, government agencies, international organizations and private business.
STEGET uses participatory approaches and multidisciplinary methodologies to identify the best projects, as well as to design sustainable interventions to enhance local resources and cultural and environmental heritage.
As of 2000, STEGET consolidated its position in integrated building engineering and successfully pursued a few niche markets, including restoration of historic buildings and sites and rehabilitation of urban and nature environment.
Since 2011, STEGET has been developing international services also in France, Georgia, Chile, Turkey, Mau-ritius, India, United Arab Emirates and Nigeria, ensuring its customers to get the best solutions that meet their needs with a vision of broad and sustainable development.
STEGET has consolidated experience in ARCHITECTURE and CULTURAL HERITAGE design and supervision providing a range of services including all phases of the design process, construction supervision and con-tract management. Since 2000 STEGET has been working for more than 50 Italian municipalities in design and supervision of touristic infrastructure, urban and nature regeneration, historic villages rehabilitation and old buildings restoration to be converted into multipurpose facilities for sustainable touristic purpose.
STEGET has written and managed several Regional Development Projects to improve tourism in industrial-ly declining areas with European Community funds and government funding. Simultaneously, STEGET has performed many City Color Plans, Italian plans to project, regulate and preserve colors, materials and ar-chitectural elements of the historic city façades. The technical service carried out on historical heritage and the management of Regional Development Projects has led STEGET to adopt in its projects a specific ap-proach, based on internationally accepted criteria, aimed at identifying and enhancing all local resources capable of developing a territory.
